Kauaʻi Period is a local initiative to help eliminate period waste and period scarcity to make our island the first place in the WORLD to create period abundance!
Local organizations are giving 5 FREE pairs of Period. underwear and 1 pack of reusable pads to every person here who has a period. And we mean EVERYONE! If you have a period or know someone who has a period (or even if someone needs help with stress incontinence) this is for you!
Period. underwear is underwear that absorbs period blood or pee. You wear it when you have your period instead of pads or tampons. It’s just like regular underwear that you wash and wear it again. It’s waste-free, sustainable and lasts for years.

Period products are a human right and should be accessible and free for all. No one should be held back because they can’t afford products and everyone should have access to products that are safe, comfortable and sustainable. Together, we want to show the world what happens when everyone has a better solution for their period.

To get your FREE Period. underwear, multiple local organizations will be engaged in the distribution process with a specific focus on Kaua'i residents and the objective of achieving complete island-wide coverage while minimizing duplication.
These organization will establish designated locations across the island, and comprehensive information regarding the timing and whereabouts will be disseminated through various channels such as social media, websites, local media outlets and signage.
Additionally, the organizations will collaborate with schools and businesses to facilitate the distribution of Period. underwear.
